QTY 6000 Meters

Specs
3 Layer polyethylene coatings system to be applied to a minimum to total dry film thickness f 2000m microns. Coating will consist of 100 microns fusion bonded Epoxy, 250 microns Copolymeter Adhesive and balance 1650 microns High Density Polyethylene to make up a total dry film thickness of 2000 microns.

3-Layer polyethylene coating will be applied as per DIN3 0670S standard in the following manner
The coatings shell be suitable for maximum operating temperature of 150 F
The maximum design temperatures shall be 170F

Application Procedure

Preheat
Bare pipes from the incoming racks will be transferred to a Radiant Heater where pipes shall be preheated to remove moisture if any on the surface of the pipe.

Shot Blasting
Pipes will then enter in shot blasting chamber for shot blasting to achieve a surface profile SA 2-1 /2. Shot blasted pipe will be inspected for surface profile 30-70 microns (those pipes not upto the mark will be recycled and reblasted).

Chromate wash
Following the abrasive blasting of pipe, pipes will enter a radiant heating chamber where the pipe will be preheated prior to chromate treatment. Chromate solution will then be uniformly applied to the pipe surface so as to only cover the pipe with light brown film. After chromate application pipe will enter into induction heating chamber where pipe shall be preheated between 200-220 C in accordance with manufacturer's recommendation.

Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Preheated pipe will then enter the epoxy powder application booth where fusion bonded epoxy powder shall be sprayed on the pipe by a series of electrostatic spray guns producing a uniform thickness of 100microns.
