Description
1. Water base Acrylic resins : This acrylic emulsion is used to produce
Black out curtains. This material is first frothed in the foaming machine
than coated on the fabric in three layers and than foam is crushed. This
foaming machine is known as Euromatic foaming machine and we have this
machine with us. The first layer on the fabric is white and middle layer
is Black. The third and the top layer is again white. This is generally
coming in combination of three chemicals like
a. Acrylic Emulsion resin ( Water Base )
b. Melamine resin as fixer and catalyst ( Water base )
c. Stable Foaming agent ( Water Base )

2. Breathable PU resin : This Polyurethane resin is solvent based and to be
coated on the Polyester or Nylon fabric to make the fabric Water proof
and
breathable. The water proof ness requirement is 3500 MM water column and
breathability required is 3000 MVTR as per AATCC method.

3. Poly Urethane Adhesive : TPU for the coating on Polyester fabric as
adhesive to laminate the PVC film with the polyester substrate. This TPU
is
first coated on the Polyester or Nylon fabric and later the extruded PVC
film is laminated on this TPU coated fabric.

4. Solvents : Methyl Ethyl Ketone ; toluene ; Ethyl Acetate; Iso propyl
Alcohol

5. Fire Retardant Chemicals : For wash proof, Non Washable and Soak proof
treatment of the fabric. Wash proof means after treatment with this
chemical
the Fabric should keep Fire retardant property for minimum 15 to 20
washes of
fabric. This we need for coating process and dipping process separately.
