Subject: Request for Quotation offline Stretcher

We, Hindalco Industries (member of Aditya Birla Group) are a leading player in Aluminium business in Asia. We would like to procure a off-line Stretcher for stretching cold aluminum extrusions.

The capacity and features looking in the equipment are,

Capacity:
It can able to stretch the following aluminum extruded sections in T4 condition
(i.e., solution heat treated aluminum alloy)

AA6063 - 155 mm diameter extruded rods
AA6083 - 145 mm diameter extruded rods
AA2014 - 125mm diameter extruded rods

Apart from solid sections like rods, we will use this equipment to stretch all kind of profiles - hollow and solid sections- in all series of aluminum alloys.

Other features looking for are,
§ Minimum stretching length: 2000 mm (Most of the large extruded sections have a maximum length of 4000 mm)
§ Maximum stretching length : 12000 mm (applicable only for sections having less weight per meter)
§ Jaw Opening: 350 x 350 mm
§ De-twisting facility is required.
§ We prefer hollow tail stock stretchers to enhance stretching in twisted extruded sections.
§ Two man operations are preferred.
