To Whom It May Concern:



We are an insulation company that insulates loose fill waste wool which is blown through a machine into the ceiling of domestic houses. The wool that we use must be cleaned and washed so that it has no lanolin oil left in this fibre. All wool used for end products being carpet, jumpers, underlay etc. has been washed in this manor. With wool waste we currently get it from various sources both in Australia, New Zealand and China. This wool comes from tanneries, scouring factories, woolen mills, carpet underlay manufacturers, doona/ quilt bed covers being their trimmings which has cotton stitching to it which our machinery removes. We also purchase cleaned skin wool pieces which again our machinery tears the wool away from the hide and then we use the wool.



The length of the fibre has to be a minimum 10mm and maximum 60mm. We are not too concerned of the colour of the wool, any colour will do. May we suggest that you could enquire to wool carpet underlay manufacturers, woolen mills, woolen bedding overlay and woolen bedding underlay, where factories make woolen doonas, they trim these doonas and underlay which create a waste wool (with cotton back) material.



If your country has tanneries they also have wool waste being combing and trimmings.
