Description
Scope:To purchase liquid grade Polyelectrolyte of high cationic charge, that is safely approved by ASNI/INSF standard-60, DWI-UK standards for portable water treatment. Application:Polymer to be used effectively in portable treatment plant in conjunction with conventional inorganic coagulant (Alum) Ferric Sulphate as a coagulant and enhance flock formation. Requirements:1. Appearance: amber colored liquid.2. Solubility: highly soluble in water in all proportions.3. Form: active polymer (Solid content):-50 +/-2%if that type of the CATAYONIC POLYMER grade from POLYAMINES.-45 +/- 2%if that type of the CATAYONIC POLYMER grade blend from POLYDADMAC& Polyamine with percentage of:75 % Polydadmac25% Polyamine.D)Supplier should specify the followings:-Average min.& max. dose rates that are recommended for the effective coagulation .-The recommended solutions preparation and the concentration for both stock solution and feed solution.-storage periods and shelf life.E)Supplier should guarantee the following:-Polymer is compatible when mixed with inorganic coagulants.-Work across wide range of pH and Alkalinity and don't alter pH of the treated water.
Polymer shall not cause any increase in color, odor, taste or heavy metals when added at the recommended dose rate to water being treated xxxxx-Increase the rate of Solid-liquid separation. Impurities:Supplied material shall contain no substances organic or inorganic in quantities capable of producing deleterious or injurious effects on the health of those consuming water treated with ,or fail to meet the requirement of the Jordanian Drinking Water Regulations Certification:Vendors, manufactures should submit: 1. A certificate from one of the followings, ANSI/INSF, EPA, FDA, DWI, or any authorized local Agency that accredits safe use of Polymer in treatment of drinking water .2. Certificate of analysis from SGS for each shipment should be delivered.3. Test methods should be specified and comply with referenced standards.
