Description
Granular , High molecular weight Anionic Polyelectrolyte of medium charge. Material to be used in treatement of potable water in conjuction with other chemicals(Alum,Iron Salt,KMnO4,PAC, Cationic polymer and Disinfectants), effectively in improving the flocculation and settling of colloidal particle, Appearance and Form, white , granular, free flowing, high molecular weight. Bulk Density 700 +/- 100 Kg/m3 pH of (1%) solution distilled water : 7 +/- 0.3 Solubility at ambient temp. : easily soluble without forming a gel solution. Solution viscosity : should be suitable for pumping and mixing at ambient temp. (25C) and according to the recommended dose rate. Specify the following: Average and Max dose rate that are are recommended for the effective floculation and settling processes. The recommended solution preperations concentrations for both stock solution and storage periods.
Shelf life : Minimum 2 years,IMPURITIES: Material should not contain substances in quantities capable of producing deleterious or injurious effects on the health of those consuming water treated with this material. It should be of low dust and should not increase the impurities when added to treated drinking water.CERTIFICATION: A certificate from one of the following s: ANS/NSF,EPA,DWI,FDA, or any authorized local Agency that accredits safe use of polymer in drinking water treatment. Certificate of analysis fro SGS for each shipment. Test methods to be specified and comply with reference methods. Material Safety Data Sheet , showing that the material has low order of Oral toxicity, and does not present abnormal handling problems.PACKING AND SHIPMENTS Should be shipped in 25 Kgs net weight plastic bags in pallerized shrink warped unit.MARKING Each shipment package should be marked with :- Name of product/ brand name or grade if available.- Batch no./Lot no.- Manufacturer name- Net weight.NOTE: - Health and safety Data Sheet to be supplied with each shipment.-
