Physicochemical property: White crystal, easy deliquescence, dissolve in water, ethanol, glycerin, undissolve in aether.

Usage: mainly used as reducing agent, developer. In organic synthesis, it can be employed to make oxime and also material for the compound of anticancer medicine(hydroxyurea), sulphonamide (sulfamethoxazole) and pesticide(Methomyl). As depolariser in electroanalysis and as non-staining short-term abeyant in synthesis rubber industry.
