Description
Water filter with 4 filter candles, free standing gravity type. Capacity to
produce 80 litres per day at the rate of 4 litres per hour with standard
water input. (Less for cloudy/raw water). Manual filling required. Robust
construction manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and fitted with lid
and output tap. Unit consists of two sections; upper section containing 4
filter candles/elements and lower section for water collection with tap.
The filter elements are silver impregnated with granular activated carbon
layer, dimensions 178mm x 70mm (L x diameter). Filtering efficiency of
element /candle: Absolute/100% for 0.9 micron and larger particles,
99.999% for particles larger than 0.5 micron, 99.70% for particles larger
than 0.3 micron, 98% for particles larger than 0.2 micron. Will remove
Cryptosporidium 99.999%, E-Coli 99.99%, Vibrio Cholerae (Cholera) 99.99%,
Salmonella Typhi (Typhoid) 99.999%, Shigella Dysenteriae 99.999%, Klebsiella
Terrigena to 99.999%, Giardia 99, 999%, Guinea Worm 99.999%. To be supplied
with 4 spare candles.
