What is Powerpanel?

Powerpanel is a steel reinforced, 75mm thick panel manufactured from Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. Put simply, Hebel is a form of concrete that has been aerated and them steam cured under high pressure. The cell structure created in this process gives Powerpanel many product advantages that are outlined below.

(1) Strength

Each Panel is reinforced with ionised steel bars giving excellent security and strength to the Powerpanel system. The panel also gives the owner a three-hour fire rating, much higher than brick and exceeds all domestic requirements.

(2) Thermal

The insulative qualities of Powerpanel are far superior to brick. This performance opinion is based on the tests that show that Powerpanel has five times the R-value of brick. Also, whilst brick will hold onto heat that radiates into the house, Powerpanel will cool down quickly with the outside temperature.

(3) Quality

Powerpanel is a fully backed CSR Hebel wall system. It is manufactured and installed with strict guidelines ensuring that the customers gets a quality product backed by a household name like CSR.

(4) Style

Powerpanel is both strong and lightweight, giving designers and owners alike a versatile product that can meet all their needs.

The Powerpanel system is many times faster than brick, thus reducing construction time for both builder and owner.
