Section-7. Technical Specification
200 KVA Diesel Driven Fixed type Generator
The proposed equipment should be designed in accordance with the technical specification. The specification of the supply provides the reader with basic technical data required for his own evaluation. It defines the performances and functions of the Engine Generating set to be used a backup power source for the electric supply disruption/failure. It should be noted with care the generator shall be used to operate/run in a 2-cusec submersible/Turbine pump at 100-meter head. The motor power of the said pump set is around 80-90 kw. At the duty point generator set must be capable to run pump set and maintain a discharge/production of water as same as that of run by electricity (5% deviation of water production is allowed).

1. Environmental Conditions

The engine generating set should be operated under the following conditions.

a) Ambient air Temperature 00 Deg C to 500 Deg C
b) Relative humidity 95% (minm)

c) Altitude Less than 15 m above from
the sea level
d) Outdoor type trailer mounted covered by Sound
and weather proof canopy for sufficient
environmental protection

2. Scope of Supply:

a) Diesel Engine 1 Set

b) Alternator 1 Set

c) Control Panel with 50 m or more, size NYY 1 Set
3x70/35rm (as necessary) flexible cable 3 phase
4 wire (300 Amps minimum capacity) with
sockets
d) 12/24 V Starting battery (Leading acid) with charger 1 Set

e) Eight (8) hours fuel tank 1 Set

f) Sound and Weather protection canopies 1 Set
g) 250-300 Amps Built in Electric Change-over 1 Set
switch

*The manufacturer of Engine & Alternator must
have ISO-9001: 2000 certificate
*All the goods mentioned above must be foreign
made, best quality & built-in
