Phthalic anhydride (A technical grade) is manufactured from ortho-xylene by air catalytic oxidation in gas phrase with vanadium-titanium catalyst.
Usage of Phthalic anhydride (A technical grade): raw material in the production of alkyd resins, phthalate plasticizers (DINP, DOP, DBP etc.), polyester resins, dyestuffs, tyres and technical rubber products, a range of pharmaceuticals and other products.
