Description
These buyers can do contracts from 1 - 3 years. For cathodes, they can do up to 12, 000 MT/month and comfort range is in 3, 000 - 5, 000 MT/month. For "grade A" cathodes, they need high single digit discounts to LME since they are contracting for long time and taking large qty's /month. CIF will be to ports in Asia such as China / Malaysia etc.



For Copper concentrates, they can take upto 15, 000 MT/month. They do need aprox 20% discount to LME since it is just a concentrate. Like Cathode, they can contract from 1 - 3 years.



Regarding payment, they can easily do L/C with well known banks (hsbc, wachovia) in US. Below is asome information on delivery terms etc.

We can buy large quantities of copper concentrate each month, as much as 10, 000 to 15, 000 metric tons per month.

We can also buy copper cathode in the range of 3, 000 to 5, 000 metric tons, monthly.

All depends on:

1. Price and quality of the copper

2. If CIF basis or FOB what port?

3. Payment method and inspection/controls

4. If supplier not a Major supplier, we will require a confirmed Performance Letter of Credit

Note: If the copper concentrate in the first few deliveries runs smoothly then we would probably consider full vessel loads in the 30, 000 metric ton range.

Sales under this scenario can be CIF.
