Description
Request for Information (RFI) for Insert bag for (7 litre) Kitchen Food Waste Caddy. The dimensions are Width 11.5'' (295mm), Depth 9'' (230mm), Height 9'' (230mm), Height (with lid open) 16'' (410mm).

Requirements:
Biodegradable/Compostable Bag for Food Waste
Size to fit inside a kitchen caddy
Ease of inserting the empty bag into caddy
Ease of extraction of the full bag from caddy
Rigidity - such that it will not collapse when in use
Toughness - such that the bag will not rip or tear
Ease of securing the full bag without spillagel
Waterproof
Odour suppressant (preferably impregnated in the bag at manufacture)
Insect Repellent (preferably impregnated in the bag at manufacture)
Look and feel to the bag (bright, fresh colour(s), eco-look
Logo and/or lettering printed on it

Packaging - bags packaged in units of 50 (corrugated box/cornstarch bag)
Available in different unit quantities be required (say 20 or 100)
Bags can be extracted individually from the package and easy to achieve
Packaging to be attractive, print design applied to it
Packaging to be biodegradable
Lightweight (it is proposed to mail units of 50 bags)
Packaging suitable for posting/courier delivery and to have address label attached (sticker) and easy to handle

Please supply cost per bag/unit cost, discounts for volume
Lowest postage/courier cost (***** lightweight)

Certification
Must conform to EN13432
Conformity to other standards (***** American standard ASTM D6400) desirable
Certification(s) (and logo) to be printed on both individual bags and on the packaging
