Subject: searching for core stock brown papers, trim and side rolls



Dear Sirs:

We are a paper converter and distributor established in Mexico City, Mexico for more than 20 years now.

We make a lot of products and conversions. One of our main processes is the lamination of paper with extrussion coating polyethylene, which is not the issue right now.



Other of our most important process, and the main issue of this letter, is to slitter cut rewind liner board paper to sell it to the paper tube making industry. We have grown a lot, specially with the toilet tissue paper industry. This is the selling of liners for making of the cores for every piece of toilet roll to many factories and mills in Mexico.



We have grown a lot by buying the Side rolls of some papers mills in Mexico, but we have reached a great deficit for these materials, needing some extra 500 hundred metric tons monthly of these trim rolls. We have a production capacity of 1200 tons a month.

We are specially looking for brown papers going from 150 gms to 215 gms, and in widths of 16"' to 54''. We don't need first grade or virgen fibre paper, but materials at very low cost prices. We can work with medium or liner papers, or with offspecs, damage or salvage materials.

As I mentioned before we would be buying at least 500 tons a month of any size rolls (width or diameter) under those calipers and mentioned measures.

We would preferable like to work with the paper mills directly, instead of having to buy from a broker or a core stock dealer, but if this works better, we can go for it.



We would like to make a long business relationship with mills preferable close to the Mexican border, keeping the freight cost low, or near a sea port in order to freight the shipments by sea.
