LOUIZIAN FOOD LTD was founded in 1996 and deals with the manufacture, packaging and sales of frozen food, many of them being traditional Cyprus products: pizzas, hamburgers, sieftalies, ravioli, cheese turnovers, cream pies, bakery and catering snacks, packaging products for supermarkets, etc. The company grew very fast and a new, state-of-the-art factory started operation in 2006 in order to cover the needs of the growing consumer base and to help improve the quality and hygienic safety in the products. The new factory is one of the most modern food processing units in Cyprus. In January 2007, the company was certified for the ISO22000 system, becoming the first food company in Cyprus to qualify for this certification. With trained and conscientious staff, with strict selection of raw materials, with systematic checks during production, storage and distribution, Louizian Food is one of the success stories of the recent food industry in Cyprus.
