The NIAN project was born at the end of the year ***5, when theVentura family settled inMont-roig del Camp, a village in thecountyof BaixCamp, region ofDOP (Designation of Origin) SIURANAwhere the best virgin olive oils in the world are being produced.  The varieties of Siurana Oil are Arbequina , it produces the most appreciated Extra Virgin Oil by the
International cuisines.
 
First communication with the local farmers started in order to be able to select the best fields in the area and create a unique product with extraordinary quality and an innovative image.
The olive oil production is limited and varies every year according to the climate conditions. With aclose monitoring and having the best professional tasters controlling from the first pruning until the final product, NIAN OLI® guarantees that the oil is a luxury for the palate and the most demanding professionals.
 
THE PROTAGONIST
The olive ARBEQUINA, is a particular fruit, jewel of DOP SIURANA. The name is related to the village of Arbeca (Lleida), Some historians assure that it arrived during the Middle Ages, imported by the Templars from the Holy Land, others that it was imported by the Duque of Cardona from Greece. Be that as it may, today the little and capricious  Arbequina is the most appreciated variety worldwide. It is round, symmetric and green, violet or bright  black.  It has a performance of between *0% and *2%, and is being used by the oil press because of the quality of its oil and because of its excellent characteristics.
