Romakra International (Private) Limited, registered as a limited liability company under the Companies Act No. 7 of ***7, consists with three Directors situated at 1/**0, Old Road, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka to operate exports of Ceylon Coir Fibre Products in Sri Lanka. Coir Fibre and Coco Peat are extracted from Coconut Husk where the conversion process takes place in the factory, the coconut husk being the raw material. The advantages are well known in potting soil industry where Coco Peat is increasingly used in potting soil mixtures as crops grown on coco peat result in healthier plants. The high absorbance of water without losing its aeration values lead to a stable PH and lower fertilizer needs. Coco Peat is **0% natural, Eco Friendly, Perfect multipurpose growing media. The contents of compressed coco peat blocks expands with its lignocelluloses matter when watered. The right coco peat has high aeration properties. Coco peat absorbs water easily but doesn't absorb too much which is a very stable media that could be used for many years without decomposition affecting its physical make-up. Above flowchart will reveal the manufacturing process of coco peat. This conversion is a labour intensive mechanical process and being practised as a home industry. The end products of coconut husk conversions are Coir Fibre and Coco Peat. These valued added products are delivered to outsourcing parties who are manufacturing Coir Fibre Mattresses and Coco Peat manufacturers.
