Ltd of Taiwan, the parent company has more than *0 years experience in running successfully the chemical recovery factory in Taiwan. Besides the proposed chemical recovery plant in Singapore and China, which are Circuits-Base Chemicals Pte Ltd and Chonqging Circular Chemical Corporation Pte Ltd respectively. The parent company in Taiwan and its overseas recovery plants in Singapores and China are all involved in similar chemical recovery industry using basically the same technology. Thouan Chemical Sdn Bhd intends to recycle the liquid wastes produced by the electronic and allied industries. The liquid wastes are intended to be recycled using chemical processes to produce end-products such as Ferric Chloride (FeCl3), Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) and Ammonia Etching Solution. Thouan Chemical recovers Ferric Chloride, Polyaluminium Chloride and Ammonia Etching Solution in a "closed" system. Any gaseous or liquid discharged from the chemical recovery processes will be recovered and reused. Ferric chloride solution is recovered from spent ferric chloride etchant, spent cupric chloride etchant, hypochloride acid solution and scrap iron. Polyaluminium chloride solution is recovered from spent cupric chloride etchant and scrap aluminium.Both spent ferric chloride and spent cupric chloride etchant are liquid discharges generated mainly by electronic factories producing printed circuit boards (PCB).
