ITU Conference Offered a Welcome by UAE

United Arab Emirates (UAE) is poised to submit a proposal for hosting the upcoming quadrennial conference of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), confirmed by the officials on recent Wednesday.

Said Nasser A. Bin Hammad, head delegate of ITU Telecom world in Dubai: “Following the successful host of three mega events back in 2012, UAE was pleased and honored to have trust and confidence from all the members of the union and will still be pleased.”

He further declared that, "Today, the UAE is pleased to announce (the bid to be) host of the supreme event of the entire union."

The Host for the ITU meeting will be selected by keeping the entire member’s consensus into consideration. In a normal manner, one country is declared as an official choice; therefore, if Dubai wins the race in the aforementioned ‘Bid’, then it would be the first ever chance for Dubai to host these rights for the next ITU meeting! For which every official is superficially surprised.
