DASCO washable aluminum filters DWAF are permanent light weight and yet rugged washable type with wide range of applications. DWAF has a high dust holding capacity, low resistance to air flow and designed to operate at high velocities. DWAF filters are suitable for collection of grease and oil mist in kitchens, cafeterias and similar applications. They can also be used as prefilters in air-conditioning installations, for generators and compressors. The performance of the DWAF filter is not affected by the directions of the flow through the media. If space is limited, a bank of DWAF filters can be assembled in a “V” arrangement. DWAF are available in wide range of thicknesses (1/2”, 3/4”,1”, 1 1/2”, 1 3/4”, 2” and 4”). Sizes as per standard list to suit the customers requirements. They are available with or without handles.
DASCO Synthetic Cleanable Aluminum Filters (DAF) are carefully designed for central air-conditioning systems, and ventilation processes. (DAF) filters are designed to remove even the smallest dust particles in the air. These filters are preferred especially in painting plants.  DASCO air filters (DAF) combines all of the following characteristics :
Light Weight: Air filters of complete aluminium construction gives the filters, the quality of easy handling and light weight than heavier metallic filters. Filter frames are made of extruded aluminium profiles.
Strength: DASCO air filters (DAF)are rigid and durable providing longer service life. Filter frames are of extruded aluminum profile riveted at corners.
Performance:  The filter media consists of layer of aluminium bird screening, insect and mats of best and superior quality. The layers are expanded and formed into the numbers of baffles and are arranged in a staggered pattern through the filter depth. The air passing through the filters, are literally bounced from one baffle to another forcing the air to come in contact with more air cleaning surface area. The result is increased efficiency, lower resistance and reduced surface clogging.
Maintenance: DASCO air filters (DAF) are easy to remove from the filter cell, for cleaning purposes. Filters can be cleaned merely by shaking or by compressed air. If required, filters can also be washed and cleaned by water.
DASCO Grease Filters (DGF) have been recognized as an extremely important part of any kitchen exhaust system. They are usually included in any newly designed hoods. Grease filters protect exhaust equipments. When filters are not used, grease will be collected on the blower wheel and motor. Grease deposits on the wheel will cause unbalance resulting in unnecessary bearing wear while grease accumulations on the motor will cause overheating and create and additional fire hazard. It is important that grease filters are cleaned regularly (according to use). This can be easily carried by washing in a solution of warm, soapy water or by holding under a stream of hot running water. DASCO grease filters (DGF) are widely used in domestic, commercial and industrial kitchen hoods. They are available in two types, Baffle type grease filters, and Mesh type grease filters.

• Dust holding capacity.
• Synthetic dust weight arrestance.
• Atmospheric dust spot efficiency.
