Product Description

A sterile, absorbent calcium alginate dressing for moderately to heavily draining wounds. It may be appropriately used for partial to full-thickness wounds (Stage II - IV), including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and traumatic wounds. This dressing will absorb up to *0 times its own weight in wound exudate. When the dressing comes in contact with wound fluid, it forms a soft absorbent gel-fiber matrix which insulates the wound and creates an ideal moist healing environment. Because of thee gel-fiber matrix that is formed, dressing removal is painless and easy. Available in flat dressings or wound packing rope.
