SUNBENT HLM is a natural sodium bentonite that, like the bentonite originating in Wyoming – USA, has a very high colloidal activity and a very stable behaviour in all the suggested uses.

SUNBENT HLMis specially designed for assuring the best performances in the production of geo-synthetic clay liner for piles, diaphragm walls, low permeability cut-off walls and is successfully used in all these applications.

SUNBENT HLM is particularly suitable for all soil sealing purporse as waste disposal sites bottoms and slopes, roads and railways underneath layers and polluted areas rehabilitation.

SUNBENT HLM, when opportunely dispersed in water, immediately starts a rheological reaction that produces a highly colloidal suspension with excellent holding, sealing and lubricating performances which achieve their highest level in *4 hours.

SUNBENT HLM, thanks to its high content of Montmorillonite and its high level of natural Sodium, produces drilling fluids of high stability towards both the contaminants normally present into the soil and the high temperatures that may be met during deep and specific borings like geothermic drilling.
