BIO DIESEL

      1. BIO DIESEL is derived from naturally available vegetative and organic matters.
   2. BIO DIESEL is a renewable energy source, bio degradable and is competitive
                        alternative fuel for High Speed Diesel (HSD].
    3. BIO DIESELis also known as fatty acid methyl esters (FAME).
    4. BIO DIESELis extracted and refined from veg oils and Jetropha, Pongamia seeds.
                        It is also obtained from animal and other fatty matters.
    5. BIO DIESELcan be substituted for HSD, FO, LDO, BASE OILS, SKO fuels for
        industrial uses for firing in Furnaces, Boilers, Ovens, Kettles. Biodiesel can also
        be used for blending with above petro-fuels to optimize fuel energy output,with
         In-built OXYGEN adding to the atomization process, resulting in a clean burn.
6. BIO DIESELis free from sulfur and hence smoke and pollution are reduced
         drastically. Soot & carbon formation is reduced in the exhaust system.
    7. BIO DIESEL,due to its lubricity and oiliness imparts reduction in wear and
              tear, enhancing automotive engine life and also reducing engine oil usage.
    8. BIO DIESEL due to higher flash point, is non-hazardous and is safe to handle
    9. BIO DIESEL, has solvent properties which clean the accumulated carbon deposits
        in the fuel system, filters and nozzles of the engine.These filters and nozzles may
        require change for 2-3 times initially, for a period of 6-8 months. After sulfur &
       soot deposits are removed, enhanced engine performance and milage is observed.
   10. BIO DIESELis already in use in Western developed countries as an eco-
         friendly fuel to minimize hazardous SPM, CO, SOX, NOX emissions .

BIO DIESELAdvantages:

Biodieseldensityiscomparable with HSD and lighter than FO.
Soot & Sediments formation ishigh with HSD, in the engine exhaust and bore / piston thereby, increasing the maintenance costs.

9. Air to Fuel ratio is the oxygen to fuel mixture in combustion for energy
      output. Better the oxygen mixture, cleaner the atomization of fuelmolecules.
10. Biodiesel has high oxygen content. (11%).
       11. Calorific value is the net energy value, released per gram of fuel burnt.
       12. The oxygen (11%) present in Biodiesel, offsets or surpasses the net
             calorific value of FO, HSD, during burning.

   13. Bio diesel has SOLVENT properties, which has a CLEANSINGeffect
         on the residue and the deposits accumulated in the fuel system and
          nozzles, thereby producing a better spray pattern

     14. HSD when burnt emits about 10,962 grams of CO2 / gallon or 3. 78 liters
      15. Biodiesel when burnt, emits 2600 grams of CO2 / gallon or 3 .78 liters.

     16. Fuel injection system Polymers / Elastomers compatible with Bio-diesel:
           Teflon, Nylon 6/6,   Viton - A401C & GFLT, Polypropylene, Poly urethane,
            Fluro-silicon.
