Q: What s the brand of chips ?

BrightSun LED Grow Lights use Bridgelux, Epistar and Epileds chips which are not easy to burn out, they are the professional manufacturers of LED Grow Light chips. High quality and super bright with long lifespan. 

Q: Does this light include UV & IR ? Why other lights without UV ?

1. BrightSun makes the truer full spectrum including UV **0nm & **0nm/IR **0nm & **0nm. 

2. Others without UV because UV LEDs are more expensive and materials need to be anti-UV.

3. UV is so important to thicken stem, leaves and flowers, also help to form anthocyanin.

 
Q: What kind of lens used in this light ?

1. BrightSun lights use unique convex optical lens, *8% luminous transmittance rate, penetrate the canopy much better.   

2. Reflectors aren't perfect at redirecting light and degrade over time as they oxidize and lose efficiency.

Q : What s the advantage of dimmers than switch ?

Dimmable LED Grow Light is for adjusting the Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR), allow you to dim the lights down for Veg and increase the light intensity for Flower, or to mimic seasonal light changes that some plants require.

Q: How to adjust dimmers?

1. Seedling cycle: turn on Seedling dimmer, leave other dimmers off.

2. Vegetation cycle: turn on Seedling & Veg dimmers, leave bloom dimmer off.

3. Bloom cycle: turn on Seedling & Veg & Bloom dimmers.

Q: How far away should this be placed from your plants ?

Suggested distance above plants: *2 to *0 according to needs.

*2 - *8 during the seedling cycle.

*4 - *0 during the vegetation cycle.

*8 - *0 during the bloom cycle.

Q: How long should I keep lights on seedling, vegetation and bloom ?

1. Suggested growing hours:

Seedling cycle: *6H/day.  Vegetation cycle: *8H/ day.   Bloom cycle: *2H/day.

2. Suggested growing period: 3 months.  1 month for Vegetation, 2 months for Bloom.
