The brinell impression measurement system (BIMS) is computerized
Brinell hardness measurement system for predefined impressions.
Just place and click - Operating BIMS is easy. With this handy
instrument entire test sequence is simple. Place the optical tube
on the work piece. Click 'Auto' in tool bar on computer screen or
do remote measure by pressing on optical tube. The BIMS.
automatically measures the diameters of impression and display
Brinell hardness value. User can save images in bitmap file and
recall later for measurement. The BIMS. can be configured to meet
your needs An unlimited number of batches can be created each with
its own test parameters and certificates. User can switch a batch
and resume it later. All readings are auto saved. The BIMS. has
built in statistical capabilities with graph and certificate for
report generation and printing. It includes frequency distribution
and variation graphs.User can export batch data to MS excel file.
The systems includes calibration and check facilities to calibrate
the systems and for checking of calibration. This eliminates any
system error in measurement. Selection & Measurement: The
system measures indentations made with 2.5mm/5mm or 5mm/10mm
indenter (depending on optical tube used). The Resolution of
measurement is 0.005mm (for 2.5mm/5mm) and 0.01mm (for 5mm/10mm)

extra length) • USB cable for video and serial port for
communication. • Separate USB to serial converter needed for laptop
which is not in scope of supply.
