The sintered type CTO has better micron rate and filtration effects than domestic extruded type. The large granular surface area has a tremendous capacity to absorb chlorine, unpleasant odor, color, spore, and remove lead and microorganisms. Coconut shell carbon has a better filtration effect to chemicals such as trihalomethanes.
