Product Description

Carbon adsorbent is a new class of adsorbents consisting mainly of carbon (up to ****7% of the ash-free product), an organic substance, comprising of highly dispersed pyrocarbon powder.

It is frequently used for eliminating oil spills, purifying industrial effluents, primary filtration of municipal sewage, purification of amine solutions and production of high, medium and low performance filters.

Oil adsorption capacity of the product is **5 g of oil per 1 g of adsorbent. The product is absolutely hydrophobic (flotation rank is *8 %).
Oil doesnt flow from the used adsorbent, petroleum products remain on the surface of the material down to their extraction from it.
