Product Description

Cefotaxime is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. Cefotaxime Sodium for Injection is a broad spectrum bactericidal cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefotaxime Sodium Injection is available in compositions of **0mg, **0mg, 1 gm injectables.

It is used in treatment of infections of lower respiratory tract including pneumonia, urinary tract, skin and skin structures, bone and joints, bacteremia/septicemia, CNS infections, intra-abdominal infections including peritonitis, gynecological infections including pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis and pelvic cellulites caused by susceptible strains of specific microorganisms; peri-operative prophylaxis.
