CMC LV is a cost-effective additive to reduce API filtration rate of many water based drilling fluids ranging from freshwater to saturated saltwater. It helps prevent high, progressive gel. It coats the clay cuttings and reduces the hydration. It meets OCMA DFCP2 specifications. It is mainly used in low solids muds to control fluid loss and to produce a thin, firm filter cake with minimum increase in viscosity. It gives more performance with less dosage. It exceeds technical grade PAC LV with optimum balance of water-loss control, rheological control and economy. |
