The unit has a transmitter which is worn by the child and a receiver that floats in the pool. Should the child enter the water without the knowledge of anyone, the transmitter will send an audio signal through the water and the receiver will pick this up and activate a local alarm. The product has been endorsed by the BRLA and carries the CE mark.
