Product Description

It's a dietetic pasta having the same pleasant taste of durum wheat pasta containing 15% of fibre, that means more than double of fibre of dark whole-wheat pasta. Fiberpasta is made of 98% of durum wheat with the only amount of 2% of inuline (soluble vegetal fibre). The high quantity of soluble and non-soluble fibre is useful for overweight, cholesterol, constipation and diabetes, in fact it has many positive qualities like: - increasing the sensation of satiety without swelling the belly. - Stabilizing intestinal functions. - Reducing the absorption of carbohydrates, contributing moreover to weight and cholesterol levels reduction. - Giving the body more energy for a longer time. - Fiberpasta contains no brain lignin that gives dark colour and less pleasant taste, causing reduction of minerals absorption too. - In the total amount of fibre, it's included the 4,5% of resistant starch, that is a vitreous starch, obtained by a special physical process. It's resistant to digestion so it delays and reduces the glycemic peak. Actually we have four formats of pasta: Spaghetti, Penne, Sedani and Fusilli. The Italian Ministry of Health recognized with the Decree nr. 600.12.814 on 10/12/2001 that Fiberpasta is �food suitable for people suffering from troubles of glucide metabolism (diabetes)�.
