Primarily used for reinforcement of optical fiber cables. Very flexible strength member Glass yarn ensures uniform transmission of the pulling force during production and installation of the cable. Glass yarn is non-conductive and made from E-glass, which is aluminium-borosilicate glass. It consists of a large number of filaments which are completely parallel. Available in different tex ranges, makes-ups and lengths as customers' requirements.
