This class of steel may be specified to ASTM A684 which covers the following 4 products types: -
 (a) Soft Spheroid zed Annealed (b) Soft Annealed (c) Intermediate Hardness (d) Full Hard

 

2.) HARDENED & TEMPERED MEDIUM AND HIGH CARBON STRIP STEEL:

   Hardened & tempered carbon strip steel is produced with the following finishes: -

 (a) Scale-less Blue/Grey (b) Bright Tempered (c) Tempered Bright and Polished  (d) Tempered, Polished and Coloured (Blue, Grey and Bronze) and the edges can be manufactured as per ASTM A684,(SLIT/ROUNDED/SQUARED).
