Product Description

The Hot Profiler is a profile measurement system designed for in-line measurement of rounds, flats and squares in section and bar mills. The system measures on hot rolled material passing through the measurement frame and present the measurements in 2D and 3D graphs as well as numerical presentation of key figures. *8 PreciCura laser distance measurement sensors are mounted on a circular base plate (measurement wheel), facing the center of the wheel. The angle between each sensor is *0º. The sensors are oscillated ±**0º. The time for measuring and calculating a new profile is **0 ms. Each sensor has a resolution of 0.*1 mm and the encoder keeping track of the oscillation has a resolution of 0.1º. The sensors measuring speed is **0 Hz which means that each profile is built from ***0 distance measurements (8 measurements / degree). Due to laser interference, a blind zone of *0 mm in diameter in the center of the measurement wheel puts limitations on the minimum products that are measurable.
