Intrastat - a procedure of collecting and processing statistical information on exchange, purchase of goods between companies that are in the European Union. The main Intrastat requirement is the condition that the company should be VAT payer.

Documentation for Intrastat should be submitted to the tax authorities on a monthly basis or every 3 months.
