This product is C6 isomers, consists mainly of *-methylpentane and *-methylpentane. It has no color and smell, easily volatilized, insoluble in water, but easily soluble in ethanol, acetone, diethyl ether and other organic solvents. It is characterized as non-toxic, low sulphur, low aromatic hydrocarbon, low olefin, good dissolubility and stability. The isohexane is mainly used as non-toxic spray solvent, low-toxic cemedin solvent, aerosol solvent, cleaning agent for precise instrument, electron and shoes industry and has a wide application in the fields of aerial fog, toy, coating, food and electron.
