STAR***7 is specifically designed for use in Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. Designed to meet and exceed all OEM specifications, STAR***7 provides reduced oil consumption, excellent cold temperature operations and a very long fluid life.

STAR***7 is ideal for use in ammonia compressors because of its ext5remely low oil carryover rate; as much as ****0% less than competitive fluids. This is due to STAR***7's extremely low volatile and very low solubility with ammonia.

When developing STAR***7, our formulators took the naturally high viscosity index and low pour points of *-stage hydrocracked base fluids and boosted it with ArcticFlow, PetroBrand's own proprietary blend of additives that dramatically enhances STAR***7's cold temperature fluidity. The end result is a lubricant that remains fluid at very low temperatures, and is thus far less likely to coat the evaporator, and is easier to purge from the system.

STAR***7 is a highly thermally stable formulation that offers exceptional resistance against oxidation, as well as carbon, varnish and sludge formation. All of which translates into a exceptionally long fluid life
