It is derived from the organic components of soil, humus, peat and coal. Humic acid is actually a complex mixture of many different organic acids formed during the biodegradation of organic material Humic acids are excellent chelators that improve nutrient uptake in addition to enhancing soil microbial activity and improving moisture retention,also a great addition to all growing environments.
