Product Description

The PCB itself is developed in a chemical solution. Areas of the PCB exposed to the UV light (through the negative) are turned into a plastic film. On areas not exposed to light the film is dissolved away to reveal bare copper beneath. This leaves traces of protective film over areas of the copper which will later become the traces on the board. Exposure and development of the board is done under yellow light to protect the sensitive board from being ruined by exposure to undesired light.
