Whilst the Rodent Mouth Gag opens the patients mouth, making it easier to examine and treat the molars, it is important to dilate the cheeks, as if they are too close to the teeth this increases the risk of iatrogenic damage to the cheek lining. Available in different sizes (small, large and long reach) to suit the different sizes/depths of patients mouths.
Rabbit & rodent cheek dilators are available in a range of sizes suitable for Chinchillas, Guinea pigs and rabbits. The dilator provides better access in the oral cavity.
