RUBBER PROCESS OIL is a by-product from solvent extracting process, in a variety of paraffinic and aromatic, to modify physical properties of the vulcanization and to reduce the cost of finished rubber product. This product has proper elastomeric compatibility and low volatility.
RPO is normally classified in three basic types depending upon the presence of Carbon atom, namely Aromatic, Paraffinic & Naphthenic Oil:
Aromatic Oils are generally dark in colour & good compatible with most Rubber Polymers. It is extensively used in the manufacturing of Automobile Tyres, Tread Rubber, Conveyor Belts, Automotive Components & Floor Mats etc., where color of the end product is not important.
