- Size: L: *1 x *4 x H*9 cm - Material : Rattan - Color: natural Rattan tree is the multi-functions tree of tropical jungles that has the high economic, ecological and social values. Forests in Vietnam are good environment for the plantation of rattan trees and for export of handicrafts that made from rattan. There are two main kinds of rattan. The big tree and the small one. We use the big rattan tree to make furniture or some frame of tray, or we slide it into skin part and inner part. Skin part and be used for weaving basket, tray or accessories. We continue sliding the inner part in to many small round part, later for using the frame of basket. On the other hand, we use the small rattan tree skin to coil with the small round inner part of big rattan tree. This combination can create various shapes from basket, tray to box, hamper etc. The inner parts of small rattan tree can be also used for weaving basket and other items.
