Quality Control
TPC has established a modern quality control laboratory at the site with technical help from Rutgers University, USA. The lab is capable of doing all the key analysis required to ensure consistent, top quality shea butter products.

Certification
TPC has initiated certification process with IMO of Switzerland under the new FairWild/Organic scheme. This combines the best of organic certification with that of Fair Trade labelling.

Social Responsibility
TPC has helped establish an NGO called RIDE which helps train local women in improved methods of harvesting and curing of nuts. TPC also buys its nuts through RIDE to ensure a transparent and equitable pricing system.

TPC provides a sustainable market for over 5,**0 rural women and their families in the 4 northern regions of Ghana.
