The tungsten tip can be used on most surfaces and terrain.
For best use and extra solid grip use the tip on sand, gravel, asphalt and in wintertime on snow covered, icey and slippery surfaces.
When replacing tip: Heat the plastic cap and the metal tip with a hot air gun or a similar tool. Pull off the old tip, add a little hot-melt or a similar type of glue to the new tip and press firmly to fasten it. They are great to use as spare parts for both models of BungyPump.
