History:
Historically, the leaves were used as a substitute for tea,which is how tea tree oil got its name.
It was first used by the aboriginals in Australia to treat cuts, burns and any type of infection.
It has since become a very popular oil and is used worldwide.

This products is made from the leaves of tea tree.The initial tea tree oil is extracted by steam
distillation,and refined processing.Tea tree oil as a natural fragrances, fungicides, preservatives,
and is being widely used in daily chemical,pharmaceutical and food industries.Although the Tea
Tree plant is indigenous to Australia, it is grown in many parts of the world including China.The
Chinese tea tree plant is a small shrub with needle like leaves similar to that of the Australian variety.

Common Uses:
Tea Tree Essential Oil is best known for its antimicrobial activities. It contains the
compound Terpinen**-ol which is thought to be the responsible for fighting all three
categories of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses). Tea Tree Essential Oil
can be used to combat a variety of ailments including acne, dandruff, athletes foot, lice,
eczema and psoriasis.It is also an ingredient in creams,ointments,lotions,soaps,and shampoos.

Usage:
1.Add **7 drops(0.3 ml) to water in a vaporiser or burner.
2.Add *0 drops(o.5ml) to **- *5ml of vegetable carrier oil for use in massage.

Cautions:
This oil is considered a safe oil, as it is non-toxic and non-irritant, but some individuals so
show sensitizing to this oil. It should not be used on deep wounds or near the eyes, ears,
nose or internally.
