Vulcan **0 Series General Characteristics Design: A specially designed wash for large castings such as Ingot Molds or Slag Pots.
Base: Carbon based refractory coating with zircon additions at various levels.
Bond: Medium to hard bond
Suspension: Good suspension characteristics Suggested Applications Casting: Grey Iron, Ductile Iron and Non-ferrous castings.
Sand Systems: Effective in any sand system.
Application Technique: Sprayed, brushed or flow coated on Cores and Molds. Advantages - Excellent resistance to burn-in and metal penetration
