Introduction of Wire rope drum

Wire rope drum is manufactured from low carbon steel, which is carburized and hardened to produce a longer lasting rope drum. these rope drums can be customized as per our precious customers specifications.

The hardened case of rope drum has a very uniform and war resistant surface, which is typically hardened to *0 HRC minimum, the hardened and toughened case of the groove surface is approximately 2mm deep, hardened and toughened grooves lower the coefficient of friction between the rope and the grooves, decreasing groove wear, rope wear and related downtime costs.





Parameters of Wire rope drum

1) Material: Q**5 ,Q**5 ,*5#,*0#,*5 # etc. 

2) Heat treatment :hardening and tempering,high frequency quenching,carburizing quenching and so on.

3) Groove surface quench: HRC****5                                      

4) Groove surface quench depth: ≥2mm

5) Max processing diameter: 2,**0mm

6) crane fitting, coiling block and the material is ductile iron or steel

7) Reel material generally can be used when using iron need special steel or use steel plate weldingmanufacturing
