1. Reservoirs & Ponds The major usage of polyethylene geomembrane is in the area of liquid containment. The Geomembrane acts as a pond liner to prevent contaminants from entering groundwater source or streams. In addition, the geomembrane prevents seepage loss thereby conserving millions of gallons of water annually in potable water applications. Typical application include agriculture ponds, golf courses, resorts and other recreational applications.
2. Irrigation Canals Polyethylene Geomembrane provides an excellent alternative to or supplements concrete and compacted earth in canal linings to reduce the substantial seepage reported by government agencies. The geomembrane offers an expedient method to repair existing deteriorated concrete linings.
3. Secondary Containment Polyethylene geomembrane can be used on ringwalls made from concrete to provide a low permeability, high chemical resistance flexible barrier to ensure against accidental chemical spills. It can be placed directly on the ground to prevent ground water containment in the event of spill. The deterioration of concrete structures and steel tanks containing potentially environmentally harmful products makes high density polyethylene the best choice as a secondary containment solution.
4. Storage Tanks Polyethylene geomembrane are used to lined internally on tank to solve problem on seam leakage/failure cause by thermal movement and ultraviolet ray.
