Those claims are backward compatible with earlier performance levels such as API SM, SL, and SJ and previous ILSAC categories.

APPLICATION:

IDEAL LIFE *0W*0 and *0W*0 are recommended for gasoline fueled automobiles and Light duty trucks with higher speed, higher viscosity reserve which provides engines with full protection under higher operating speeds, temperatures, and other adverse conditions. Requiring an API SN, SM, SL or SJ. They also meet ILSAC GF*5
