San Pedro cactus (Cacti)

The plant grows best in light shade. Water the plant lightly in the summer but let it dry out during the winter.

We have very little humidity. During the growing season of each plant we water two times a week. One of those is a heavier watering; the second is a lighter watering. The specific plants prone to rot usually only receive one watering a week. During the dormant season, we water very sparingly. Most of our plants are grown under *0% shade.

You will recieve  healthy cactus plant in pot as pictured. We are a greenhouse business and have been growing these cactus for 6 years now. We are having a clearance sale on them to make room for other plants. We do not know the scientific names of the cactus. These are very healthy and heavy plants. The roots are full and ready to be transplanted. They are very hearty as we overwinter them every year.    Just take a look at the pic to see what you are bidding on.

The one in picture is the one you will get or simular*2" pot size.  Winter hardy to about *0 degrees F, but if your winters are harsh you can grow as house plant until spring.These make wonderful house plants if you have enough sun light. Excellent for dish gardens, planted among rocks, and  in ornamental pots.Grown as house plant it stays small-in yard,it grows large.Left alone (not taking babies off),it will grow many offsets (babies or pups) in a colinized mound. They grow well in full sun to partial shade.Plant in any good planter mix with sand  or vermiculate added,making sure the pot drains fast.They can be planted in the yard as well as pots-Fast growers. Light frost ok-but should be protected with plastic sheeting if winter temps get below *0 degrees F.. or keep inside.
